That's some slick animation you got going there. But where is the Gargoyles audio being used?

So the whole point of this video was to beat the crap out of the dog, right? Because honestly, that's all I saw. The story is there only for to keep some cohesiveness for the whole animation, but in general it seems everything about this animation had one intent: Torture the crap out of the Duck Hunt dog. There were several parts that made no sense, that offered nothing to a narrative, that all seemed intent to bring severe harm to this dog (Like getting the needle up his nose and getting that virus)

I mean, it was good animation. A lot of quality sprite work, but I don't see the reason for a lot of the scenes. Some stuff gets dragged out for waaaay too long, the video is constantly being distracted by unimportant characters, and the overall punishment being given to the dog is probably excessive.

In short, it was good, but it could've been a lot better. For something you spent so much work on, I'm surprised you didn't put more into the story itself.

Nice!

Oh Sara's father, you so crazy.

That reference to the movie made me very happy.

It was good, but...

It's, simply put, impossible to get 3 stars with Wart on your first turn. Try as I might, I could never get a vegetable and get it into Wart's mouth on the same turn. However, I DID end up using an odd bug where, so long as I didn't reload the page, Wart would start spawning more and more bubbles (like they were all adding up), allowing me to grab a vegetable on one, and then a few seconds later, when I was in position, to throw it in his mouth the first chance I got.

Well Done

I enjoyed this game so much that I've played it several times.

I will admit, I'm a bit upset over how easy the game suddenly got with the second boss. Where as the first one used different attacks (Although in a sort of order), the second one did the same thing, only from three different positions. It was too easy to work out and dodge. :(

Perhaps a retuning of the second boss is needed?

Very good, but could be better...

I've noticed a few issues from Fierce Battle were addressed in this version. The improved graphics graphics for characters was nice, as was the addition of more weapons and magic, but there was still a lot missing.

I found the song to be rather annoying to listen to so far in. Perhaps you would benefit from using something like was used in the Balloon Duel game, where a person can have MP3's from their own computer run. This would save a lot on space as well.

There are other issues that should be addressed, such as the fact that as you do more battles, each level gets harder. Isn't that sort of pointless when it goes up 99,999,999? Sure, your magic gets a little stronger, but your weapons remain their regular strength. By the time someone goes through the effort of getting the money to buy the best sword so they could fight level 100 or up with less difficulty, it becomes an issue to fight enemies of half that level. Perhaps if a person could do more damage with their weapons over time, it'd be better.

The last two issues I had with the game were that a person can't customize how their character looks, and the fact that once your health gets so high, you don't get shown it all. You only get up to four numbers. This is something that should be corrected, so a person can fully see how much health they have in full, and the full health of the enemy.

Other than those issues, though, the game is solid.

Very good, except for one thing.

Overall I really liked this, but I have a feeling that this song is going to annoy people if they have old or crappy speakers. I noticed that the low notes for the main tune that runs from the beginning until 1:20 (I think a xylophone, it sounds like that) sounded strained when I listened to it through my speakers. This makes sense, since in general it sounds like this instrument is more left focused anyway. It wasn't until I plugged in my headset that this went away.

So it's not asked, I'm not using crappy speakers (Just old ones, but they were top of the line when I got them and beat out a LOT of speakers shipped out on computers made today. The last computer I bought, I didn't keep the speakers when I noticed the sound quality was better from these ones), so this concerns me. I'm not really sure if it's something you can fix, though I did notice the problem was GONE when the other instruments came in and the xylophone-esque instrument's volume was dropped. I'd thinking maybe dropping the sound on it for the entire track to a single volume level would ease the problem. However, since I do not know how well this song is made to impact when it is used, I cannot say for certain if this is the best idea.

If I didn't have this initial listening problem, this would've been a ten.

Finally!

And here I thought you had all but vanished! Then I take a gander and find this now sitting around.

This is a wonderful remix. VERY wonderful. And it's actually a remix, not just a cover! Can't tell you how many times I see "THIS IS A REMIX" and it's a bloody cover!

The tone is rather upbeat and happy, as the original track is, with a hint of a "go for it!" vibe. I find myself unable to control myself as my head bobs to the beat, feeling a natural, relaxing groove to it. It's the kind of song I'd want to listen to while chilling or perhaps writing. That in itself makes it awesome. Your choice of instrumentation and the general styling make it better.

That and this is my favorite Rainbow Road track. Huzzah!

I know! It's been so long since I've had a complete piece to show you guys!
And I'm glad you really enjoyed it ^_^
Thanks for all your support.

This is...

This is quite amazing. Simple as that. It has a very serene, much like the original Hymn of Faith did. This is entirely your voice, too? That's... insane. I mean, sure, there might've been some computer modifying, but still! I wish I knew someone who could do these sort of vocals.

I also took a look at some of your other pieces. There's a lot of awesomeness strung throughout your submissions. Do you happen to have any original pieces with you singing? I'd love to hear you singing in your own work. :)

VGSongbird responds:

I'm working on some Originals. I just get overly finicky about them and usually end up tossing them before they get anywhere near being finished.
I wish I knew how to edit my vocals! lolz, I'm still not all that MIDI savey. The only thing I added was the reverb.

And thanks for the support! I hope to get more feedback from you in the future! ^_^
