When I was watching this, it felt more like I was watching an episode of the old Legend of Zelda cartoon that aired alongside the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. I was expecting Link to go asking for a kiss after winning, and to go "Well excuuuuuuse me" at some point as well. Though it didn't happen, it was very nicely written. I love the random "puppet play" humour that went on. But they still didn't answer how that spider got in!
Author's Response:
It's a spider. It just gets in. You can't keep spiders out.

Despite being a tribute animation, this was still something entirely on its own. From the little backstory you gave the characters, to the actual influence of the typical "health meter" from the games, it stood out as being quite unique from what you were trying to make a tribute for.
On top of this, yours was a lot more stylized. It had a lot more detail, I feel, than kansuto2.swf (I watched it before watching this). The Steelix, especially, felt very unique. It seemed like it had come out of a Viewtiful Joe game, which, for some reason, seemed to imprint that very idea across the rest of the animation. I do wonder what it would've been like if more of the animation was actually done like that.
Author's Response:
the critic to kansuto2 is that its animation is very simple, but its effects and transition, flow of animation made up/compensates for its simple animation, for my own take, I wanted to improve on both the animation and the effects/transition to it.

This nice little reference to Samurai Jack is just awesome! And the twist ending was just gold! The animation was smooth and crisp, the colours were spot on, and at the end I found myself wanting to see more!
On another note, since you didn't quite label the exact songs you used nor do I have ANY knowledge of MGS games, what track is the one that starts with the ghost bursts in?
Author's Response:
glad that you liked it. ghost bursting in score is from Metal Gear Solid 4 OST ; Desperate Chase

That was fantastic, HotDiggedy! All these little stories connected to Jerry is just awesome!
And was that guy who was Jackie's boyfriend (The cop) the same copy from the Maxwell Edison Story?

Ok... it's been a long time since I commented on one of your works, but... what the HELL did you create?! And I thought MEANWHILE... was messed up, but this... I'm not sure if it was the dog/cat, or that sudden desolate world where you had to choose how that person died, or even just the inclusion of Xenu, but damn, Max, you scary!
You, hands down, have made the best messed up animations on Newgrounds, in my opinion. This only stands as proof of that claim.
And nice to see the MEANWHILE... robot return with updated shine.

That was damn funny. WoodMan rocks.
However, in the DBZ sound clip you used, I'm pretty sure he says "Unreal" and not "I'm real." Though the latter IS funnier.

It's, simply put, impossible to get 3 stars with Wart on your first turn. Try as I might, I could never get a vegetable and get it into Wart's mouth on the same turn. However, I DID end up using an odd bug where, so long as I didn't reload the page, Wart would start spawning more and more bubbles (like they were all adding up), allowing me to grab a vegetable on one, and then a few seconds later, when I was in position, to throw it in his mouth the first chance I got.

I'm normally not a fan of cock jokes, but... HAH! I had some good laughs out of that. The Sonic the Hedgehog stuff was the best, I think. Of course, this could be because in one of them you had Sally Acorn in there. That was just awesome.
If you don't mind my asking, where the hell did you get those Sally and Rogue sprites anyway? I've searched all over to find sprites like those and found nothing.

ask ultramoron about it

I enjoyed this game so much that I've played it several times.
I will admit, I'm a bit upset over how easy the game suddenly got with the second boss. Where as the first one used different attacks (Although in a sort of order), the second one did the same thing, only from three different positions. It was too easy to work out and dodge. :(
Perhaps a retuning of the second boss is needed?

Ok, now that was truly awesome. I had never heard that song, to be honest, so a few days ago when I saw "PS3 Song" in the Flash Portal, I ignored it. However, the front page made it clear I should, and I'm glad I now did.
I'm glad to see that there are so many others out there who agree the PS3 sucks balls. I just wish the damn PS3 fanboys would wake up and realize that in the end, they're wasting money.
Here's to the downfall of Sony!
I'm wondering now, though, are you a bigger fan of of the 360 or the Wii?
