When I was watching this, it felt more like I was watching an episode of the old Legend of Zelda cartoon that aired alongside the Super Mario Bros. Super Show. I was expecting Link to go asking for a kiss after winning, and to go "Well excuuuuuuse me" at some point as well. Though it didn't happen, it was very nicely written. I love the random "puppet play" humour that went on. But they still didn't answer how that spider got in!
Author's Response:
It's a spider. It just gets in. You can't keep spiders out.

Despite being a tribute animation, this was still something entirely on its own. From the little backstory you gave the characters, to the actual influence of the typical "health meter" from the games, it stood out as being quite unique from what you were trying to make a tribute for.
On top of this, yours was a lot more stylized. It had a lot more detail, I feel, than kansuto2.swf (I watched it before watching this). The Steelix, especially, felt very unique. It seemed like it had come out of a Viewtiful Joe game, which, for some reason, seemed to imprint that very idea across the rest of the animation. I do wonder what it would've been like if more of the animation was actually done like that.
Author's Response:
the critic to kansuto2 is that its animation is very simple, but its effects and transition, flow of animation made up/compensates for its simple animation, for my own take, I wanted to improve on both the animation and the effects/transition to it.

This nice little reference to Samurai Jack is just awesome! And the twist ending was just gold! The animation was smooth and crisp, the colours were spot on, and at the end I found myself wanting to see more!
On another note, since you didn't quite label the exact songs you used nor do I have ANY knowledge of MGS games, what track is the one that starts with the ghost bursts in?
Author's Response:
glad that you liked it. ghost bursting in score is from Metal Gear Solid 4 OST ; Desperate Chase

This is quite amazing. Simple as that. It has a very serene, much like the original Hymn of Faith did. This is entirely your voice, too? That's... insane. I mean, sure, there might've been some computer modifying, but still! I wish I knew someone who could do these sort of vocals.
I also took a look at some of your other pieces. There's a lot of awesomeness strung throughout your submissions. Do you happen to have any original pieces with you singing? I'd love to hear you singing in your own work. :)
Author's Response:
I'm working on some Originals. I just get overly finicky about them and usually end up tossing them before they get anywhere near being finished.
I wish I knew how to edit my vocals! lolz, I'm still not all that MIDI savey. The only thing I added was the reverb.
And thanks for the support! I hope to get more feedback from you in the future! ^_^

It carries a lot of the same atmosphere as the original did, very tranquil and enjoyable.
To the reviewer below me, this IS "Silence Before The Storm." You're either thinking of the wrong game or you have your tracks mixed up. Take a look at the FFX OST, Silence Before The Storm is CD 2, track 4. The songs are kept in a chronological order, with this one occurring fairly early in the game, long before you ever get to use the airship.

You don't often see remixes done from the Sonic Adventure games. This was very well done. Keep up the awesome work!
And to the reviewer below me, this is Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2. :) Seven Rings in Hand was from Sonic and the Secret Rings.
